How is this different from a diet chart I can download for free?

Will I have to stop eating rice, roti and Indian food?

No. Every plan is built on regular Indian home cooking such as dal, sabzi, roti, rice, curd, idli and poha. We change portions, timing and cooking method rather than replacing your food with quinoa and imported ingredients you will abandon in three weeks.

How much weight can I realistically lose in a month?

For most clients it is between 2 and 4 kilos in the first month, then 1.5 to 3 kilos a month after that. Anyone promising 10 kilos a month is selling water loss and muscle loss. We aim for fat loss that stays off after the programme ends.

Do I need to visit the clinic, or is this available online?

Accepted Answer

Both. Clients across Ahmedabad visit the Satellite clinic in person, and we consult online over video call for clients across India and abroad. The plan, the follow ups and the results are identical either way.

What happens in the first consultation?

Accepted Answer

It runs about 45 minutes. We go through your medical history, blood reports, current eating pattern, sleep, work hours, digestion and past diet attempts. You also get your body composition measured. You leave that session knowing exactly what is causing the problem and what the plan will look like.

What are your fees?

Programmes are priced by duration and complexity, starting from a single consultation up to six month clinical programmes. Because the plan depends on your condition, we share exact pricing on the enquiry call rather than quoting a misleading number here. There are no hidden charges added later.

Question 7

Do you sell supplements, shakes or meal replacement products?

Accepted Answer

No, and we never will. Amrut Aahar earns from consultation alone, which means there is no incentive to push a product on you. If a supplement is genuinely needed, vitamin D or B12 for example, we tell you the generic name and you buy it from any pharmacy.

Is the diet plan safe if I am already on medication?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We ask for your current prescriptions before writing anything and design the plan to work alongside them. For diabetes, thyroid, blood pressure and PCOS, we coordinate with your treating doctor and never advise you to stop or reduce medicine. That decision belongs to your physician.

How often will I speak to the nutritionist?

Weekly. You get a scheduled follow up every week where weight, measurements, energy, digestion and adherence are reviewed and the plan is corrected. Between calls you can message on WhatsApp for quick queries about a meal or a menu at a restaurant.

Do you handle PCOS and thyroid cases specifically?

Accepted Answer

Yes, they are among the most common cases at the clinic. PCOS plans are built insulin first, which helps with cycle regularity, cravings and abdominal weight. Thyroid plans account for medicine timing, iodine, selenium and the slower metabolic rate that comes with hypothyroidism.

I have tried and failed at diets many times. Will this be different?

Most people who come to us have failed before, usually because the plan was too extreme to sustain or nobody followed up after the first week. We deliberately start with changes you can hold for a year, not for ten days, and the weekly review catches slippage before it becomes a relapse.

Can the whole family follow the same plan?

Accepted Answer

That is exactly how we prefer to work. The base menu stays common for the household and we adjust portions and a few additions per person. It means one kitchen, one cooking effort, and far higher chances that you stick with it.

Will I gain the weight back after the programme ends?

Accepted Answer

Not if the maintenance phase is done properly. The last few weeks of every programme are spent gradually widening your food range and teaching you how to self correct after a heavy weekend or a wedding season. Most clients hold their result because the habit, not the chart, is what they take home.

Do you provide plans for vegetarians, Jains and vegans?

Yes. Pure vegetarian, Jain, vegan, eggetarian and non vegetarian plans are all routine here. Protein adequacy in vegetarian and Jain diets takes extra planning, and that is built into the plan rather than solved with a protein powder.

How soon will I start seeing results?

Energy levels, bloating and sleep usually improve within the first ten days. Visible weight and inch loss typically shows from week two or three. Blood markers like HbA1c and lipid profile need eight to twelve weeks before a retest is meaningful.

What if I travel often or eat out for work?

We plan for it instead of pretending it will not happen. You get restaurant ordering rules, airport and highway options, and a lighter recovery day template for the day after. Frequent travellers are a large part of our client base.

Is there any crash diet, detox tea or fasting involved?

Accepted Answer

No. No detox teas, no juice cleanses, no 800 calorie crash phases. Those produce fast numbers on the scale, wreck your metabolism and hand the weight straight back. Everything we prescribe is food you can buy at a regular grocery shop.
